**Cost evaluation based on the dimension drawings; but we suggest to revise the diameter of the ball shape segments into 10mm to compare with the tube diameter of 5mm under the consideration of glass extensibility.**

1) 5mm glass rod (Minimum order: —kg)

**The remained glass rod will be kept for machine test- run or returned to the customer by shipping together with the machine.

—Glass rod specification:

External diameter: 5mm; Thickness: 0.8mm

Internal diameter: 5 – (0.8×2) = 3.4mm

—Coefficient of Expansion/swell factor: 34

FYI:

**While the glass tube is producing by machine, the “material costs” will be the following:

(A) 1kg of glass rod can produce about 150pcs of glass tube; so 1pc of glass tube costs about US$——

(B) Fuel charge will be about NT$— (US$——) per 1pc of glass tube according to Taiwanese rates.

(C) So, 1pc of glass tube only costs you US$——

1) For glass rod external diameter: Ø2.5~10mm; length: 40~200mm

2) Platen width: 500mm

In case of Ø5mm of glass rod, it is available for 100pcs of it to be put together onto platen for cutting at the same time.
