Dosing Blender-Essential INFO List

[Question-1] Pls clarify again which type of dosing blender you require???

“VOLUMETRIC”??? or “GRAVIMETRIC”???

As far as we understand, in case that the dosing blender is equipped with the screw, we call it as “VOLUMETRIC” type!

On the other hand, the “GRAVIMETRIC” type of dosing blender is equipped with the platform scales for measuring weight!

[Question-2] Pls clarify each RATIO of additive (NO.1, NO.2 and NO.3) for Main Extruder???

[Main Extruder] Extruding Capacity: 400kg/hr

Additive

RATIO

Additive NO.1

(?)kg / 400kg

Additive NO.2

(?)kg / 400kg

Additive NO.3

(?)kg / 400kg

[Question-3] Pls confirm the SHAPE of additive (NO.1, NO.2 and NO.3) is pellet-shaped!?

Additive

SHAPE

Additive NO.1

Pellet-shaped (not powder)?

Additive NO.2

Pellet-shaped (not powder)?

Additive NO.3

Pellet-shaped (not powder)?

[Question-4] Pls clarify extruding capacity (?kg/hr) for SUB-Extruder???

2 EXTRUDERS

Extruding Capacity

Main Extruder

400kg / hr

SUB-Extruder (you said Side Extruder)

??kg / hr

[Question-5] Pls clarify the RATIO of additive (NO.4) for SUB-Extruder???

[SUB-Extruder] Extruding Capacity: ??kg/hr

Additive

RATIO

Additive NO.4

(??)kg / (??)kg

As far as we understand, if the extruding capacity of sub-extruding is (for example) 65kg/hr; then which means additive NO.4 should be the same supply – that is 65kg/hr…

The ratio ought to be 65kg/65kg = 1 : 1

Pls confirm!!!  (Or there is some other application???)

In this case, we don’t understand what’s the reason why the customer requires 1 set of dosing blender for additive NO.4 onto sub-extruder???  Pls clarify!

[Question-6] Pls clarify additive (NO.4)???

Characteristics

Additive NO.4

Shape

powder

What’s the name of this powder?

???

What’s the purpose for using this powder?

For cooling?

We need some pictures of this powder!

(pictures)???

(*)ALLOWABLE Tolerant Differential for Blending?

[Explanation of Pellet v.s Powder]

<<<Pellet>>>

===Powder===

It has the Physical and Concrete shapes and weight, which enable us to easily measure its volume or weight!

Most of the powders are light!

So, there will be a lot of powder attached to the wall of hopper or suspended (floating) in the air while feeding…

(*)In this case, the precision of blending volume or weight will not be precise!!!

(no matter by volumetric or gravimetric type of dosing blender)
