<<IMPORTANCE>> (1) According to the picture of 600ml NESTEA ICE LEMON TEA, whose design is for COLD-FILLING.
(2) In the case of HOT-FILLING, the bottle shape should be designed to change as the ones shown on the picture in right side! (We called it as “WINDOW” type!) (3) Hot-filled bottle requires specialized feature of crystallization at the neck region. (Pls refer to the left preform/bottle in right-side picture). But the crystallizing machine is very expensive; and almost stretch-blow molding machine’s manufacturers do not like to promote it due to it is not economic! (4) Hot-filling equipment for such as tea is extremely costly! So, now almost Taiwanese manufacturers are adopting the following ways: (4-1) Bottleneck diameter should be Æ38mm and the wall-thickness of bottleneck should be made much “thicker”! (Therefore, the preform weight would be heavier, like 38~40g for 600ml) p.s. 18~22g is for normal cold-filling bottles! (4-2) The buyer has to search for such this special designed preform in markets!!! (4-3) Bottle shape should be designed to change as the “WINDOW” type!
